Lightweight and vacuum-packed, they boast a 5-year shelf life, ensuring you’re always ready for a flood emergency.

How Does the Cube Work?

  • Cube is an eco-conscious, economical solution to surface water flooding. It forms barriers and redirects water, activated by fresh water submersion or hose soaking.
  • Within 3 minutes, it partially activates, reaching full activation in 5 minutes. Place and stack cubes up to 1.2m high for robust flood defense.
  • Made from non-woven polypropylene and hydrophilic nano-SAP, Flood Cubes are lightweight and easy to store.
  • Each activated cube weighs 20kg, providing a stable flood barrier.
  • After use, the eco-friendly material disperses safely, and the outer sack is disposed of per local guidelines.

How to use the Floodready Cube

Read Instructions

Activation:

  • Submerge in Fresh Water or Use a Hose: Place the Cube in fresh water or soak it with a hosepipe. Avoid using salt water as it may affect activation.
  • Activation Time: The cube will partially activate in under 3 minutes and fully activate within around 5 minutes, expanding to its activated dimensions of 400mm x 360mm x 150mm. Each fully activated cube can hold approximately 18-20 liters of water, forming a stable barrier against flooding.

Placement:

  • Positioning: Once activated, place the Cubes in the desired location to form a barrier. They can be laid out individually or stacked up to 1.2m high for enhanced protection.
  • Handling: Use the integral handles for easy handling and deployment, ensuring quick setup.

Disposal:

  • After Use: The non-toxic internal material of the Cube will naturally disperse into the ground. Dispose of the outer sack according to local authority guidelines, typically through landfill or incineration.

Storage and Readiness:

  • Vacuum-Packed: Cubes are vacuum-packed for compact and easy storage.
  • Shelf Life: They have a shelf life of up to 5 years when stored unopened, ensuring they remain ready for immediate activation in emergencies.
