3. Preparation and Activation

Preparation

1. Inspect the Packaging: Ensure there are no damages to the vacuum-sealed bags.
2. Choose Activation Site: Select a site close to where the bags will be deployed. This site should have access to fresh water.

Activation Steps

1. Submerge in Water: Submerge each bag in fresh water or hose it down thoroughly. Ensure full submersion for even absorption.
2. Wait for Activation: Within 3 minutes, the bag will partially activate. Complete activation will occur within 7 minutes, absorbing up to 20 liters of water.
3. Check for Full Expansion: The bag should expand to its full size (600mmx400mmx100mm to 120mm) and weigh approximately 19Kg.

• Store in a Cool, Dry Place: Keep the vacuum-sealed bags in a cool, dry environment to extend their shelf life up to 5 years.

6. Disposal Instructions

1. Cut Open the Bag: Use a knife to carefully cut open the bag and release the absorbent material.
2. Recycling and Biodegradation: Both the non-woven fabric and SAP (Super Absorbent Polymer) are recyclable materials and biodegradable within 3 months after being placed in soil.
